Day of activities with Moorea Miti Tours

A bit of background about the mountain peaks and the two bays where cruise ships visit.

On Moorea Miti Tours, 6 hours snorkeling, you get to swim with the black tip sharks and stingrays as well as a prepared lunch on Coco Beach which is a privately owned little motu (island in Tahitian). We saw a lot on the boat that picked us up from the jetty right next to the Manava Resort and Spa.

Our guide was local from the island and very entertaining. Everyone on the tour came from diverse part of the globe. Mainland France mostly, but also Americans, Aussies and us Kiwis.

It was a stunning day for it and we were really happy to have done this tour on this trip. You also get some workshop sessions towards the end showing you how to tie a pareu or light piece of garment. Since we are in French Polynesia, it would be nice to call it by the locals name pareu.
